DIY Training – 2011

ORPAHN_LRG-300x166Pupils at Umul Qura School have been given DIY training at school so that they can tackle common repairs at home. Pupils were given a booklet that was developed by Farah Ibrahim and they attended weekly classes. Many of the students found these classes beneficial as they felt more able to tackle simple DIY projects on their own. The governors of the school hope to engage local businesses so that they can give the pupils practical work experience and possibly employment once they finish their studies.

Umul Qura School would like to thank all those who have contributed to this project and especially Farah Ibrahim for his continued support and guidance.

quraAppropriation Helps But It’s Not a Complete Solution!
every year a great many childrens are received into adoring homes!
Selection is a sublime alternative for folks who were wanting to have more youngsters at any rate. Sadly, just a small portion of youngsters without parental consideration will ever be received. There are basically an excess of them and countless are not qualified for reception because of different lawful reasons.foster Care Helps But It’s Not a Complete Solution! In created countries and even some creating countries, cultivate look after a huge number of vagrants! There are numerous countries where destitution and absence of social foundation implies that cultivate forethought is exceptionally constrained or non-existent. A few nations even without infrastucture have cultivate consideration homes administrated and observed by non-benefit private associations. Sadly, such projects are not exceptionally scalable.every individual ever imagined, was conceived with particular needs. Those needs incorporate, discriminating needs, for example, nourishment and safe house, security, the learning that basic needs will keep on being met, holding, coaching and sustaining which prompt a feeling of having a place and self completion, or self worth…the conviction that one is of worth to themselves as well as other people. Kids will first look for their basic needs…and the supply of those discriminating needs will impart a scholarly conduct. And after that they will look for alternate needs also and the wellspring of those needs will again turn into an educated conduct. For instance, if a starving tyke discovers that the most beyond any doubt approach to not be eager is to steal…they will discover that conduct as a method for survival. On the off chance that being for instance, a youngster officer, or a terrorist implies that they are nourished, dressed and get consideration and commendation from a grown-up figure, again they will discover that these sorts of conduct bring them rewards…supplying them with their needs. It might be said they will get to be what they have adapted in their battle to survive and have a place. Consider this article expounded on the Taliban. Generally, every vagrant tyke will either die or get his or her essential human needs from some source…good or terrible. It is dependent upon the individuals who have the methods and the chance to make sure that the source respects accommodate them. On the off chance that we don’t, it will be the pimps, slave merchants, poorly willed relatives, cheats, hoodlums, warlords and terrorists that do…no human is ever conceived with a surety of an upbeat, sound life. Notwithstanding, there are an incredible numerous kids who are naturally introduced to cherishing homes in which they will have the risk that each kid merits. There has never been a solitary vagrant kid conceived, that picked or merited their status as a tyke without parental forethought. Whether you trust it is God’s will as expressed in scriptures, for example, James 1:27, or you just comprehend our inalienable obligation to nurture kids and secure the future for our youngsters, its plain to see that the vagrant offspring of this world are something we basically can’t ignore.because these youngsters have nobody, they are regularly the most vaulnerable to being raised in lives of wrongdoing, sold off into servitude, sexually misused, transformed into youngster soldiers.they are the most vaulnerable, on the grounds that they are kids, these youngsters will settle on decisions exclusively out of need. Much the same as anybody, they will do what they have to survive. Thats a choice a kid ought not need to make at such an essential age. We watch over vagrant youngsters on the grounds that, they are the future, they are vaulnerable, and in particular, on the grounds that they are kids.

To begin with we can address the obvious…things that we read and find out about in the news constantly: War, ailment, destitution, characteristic debacles, deserting, and mischances are among a portion of the main sources. These might be specifically connected with vagrants by the meaning of a kid who has lost one or both folks. Inside and aside from the previously stated are: social weights, disregard, ill-use, kid subjugation, religious imbalance, kid prostitution, contracted servitude and then some. These are all the more nearly connected with kids without parental mind that may not be a kid that has lost one or more folks. They may live with a relative or neighbor or are in the city or in the wildernesses and subjected to one of the before specified ill-uses. In some cases they essentially live with a visually impaired, sick or extremely old relative that cherishes, however can’t enjoy them. There are numerous differed combos that help a tyke enduring without parental consideration, however the results are the same, paying little heed to the reason. Factually the subgroups, for example, these would not be considered vagrants, however by characteristics connected with ill-use and disregard, they are one and the same regarding the result for the youngster. Maybe in a few ways their status very nearly makes them undetectable and the threat they are in is misjudged by a lot of people not acquainted with their society. A few assessments put this number at 42,000 for every day. As per UNICEF detail, the rate of new vagrant youngsters in Asia and some different areas is falling, while in Sub Saharan Africa it is incresing basically because of AIDS. In the event that the above figure is precise, 1750 kids are stranded consistently, 29 for every moment and about 1 at regular intervals Orphan youngsters by definition*143 millionchildren with no parents.18.5 millionthousands Are Orphaned Each Day

Orphans & the Quran

Here are the numerous Qu`ranic verses that Allah (SWT) mentions orphan:

  • And remember We took a covenant from the Children of Israel (to this effect): Worship none but God; treat with kindness your parents and kindred, and orphans and those in need; speak fair to the people; be steadfast in prayer; and practice regular charity. Then did ye turn back, except a few among you, and ye backslide (even now). (2:83)
  • They ask thee what they should spend (in charity). Say: Whatever ye spend that is good, is for parents and kindred and orphans and those in want and for wayfarers. And whatever ye do that is good, -God knoweth it well. (2:215)
  • (Their bearings) on this life and the Hereafter. They ask thee concerning orphans. Say: “The best thing to do is what is for their good; if ye mix their affairs with yours, they are your brethren; but God knows the man who means mischief from the man who means good. And if God had wished, He could have put you into difficulties: He is indeed Exalted in Power, Wise.” (2:220)
  • But if at the time of division other relatives, or orphans or poor, are present, feed them out of the (property), and speak to them words of kindness and justice. (4:8)
  • Those who unjustly eat up the property of orphans, eat up a Fire into their own bodies: They will soon be enduring a Blazing Fire! (4:10)
  • Serve God, and join not any partners with Him; and do good- to parents, kinsfolk, orphans, those in need, neighbors who are near, neighbors who are strangers, the companion by your side, the wayfarer (ye meet), and what your right hands possess: For God loveth not the arrogant, the vainglorious; (4:36)
  • And know that out of all the booty that ye may acquire (in war), a fifth share is assigned to Allah,- and to the Messenger, and to near relatives, orphans, the needy, and the wayfarer,- if ye do believe in Allah and in the revelation We sent down to Our servant on the Day of Testing,- the Day of the meeting of the two forces. For Allah hath power over all things. (8:41)
  • What God has bestowed on His Apostle (and taken away) from the people of the townships,- belongs to God,- to His Apostle and to kindred and orphans, the needy and the wayfarer; In order that it may not (merely) make a circuit between the wealthy among you. So take what the Apostle assigns to you, and deny yourselves that which he withholds from you. And fear God; for God is strict in Punishment. (59:7)
  • Indeed, your Lord is in observation. And as for man, when his Lord tries him and [thus] is generous to him and favors him, he says, “My Lord has honored me.” But when He tries him and restricts his provision, he says, “My Lord has humiliated me.” No! But you do not honor the orphan And you do not encourage one another to feed the poor. And you consume inheritance, devouring [it] altogether, And you love wealth with immense love.(89: 14-20)
  • Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? (93:6)
  • “Treat not the orphan with harshness” (Qur’an 93:9)
  • Have you seen the one who rejects [the true spirit] of religion? That is he who repels the orphan. And does not advocate for the feeding of the very poor. Woe to you worshipers! Those who pray yet are heedless. Who only pray to be seen [by men]. But neglect even neighbourly needs. (107:1-7)
