Pupils, parents and members of the local community gathered today to celebrate the graduation ceremony of the first cohort of students.
A variety of activities were held throughout the day including speeches, presentations, and competitions. The highlight of the day was the Quran competition were a total of 10 students were awarded prizes for completing the recitation of the Quran.
A huge amount of dedication and effort went in to make sure that ceremony was a success and we are immensely grateful the all the people who have given a donation to Umul Qura or who have sponsored an orphan – your support has made a massive difference to our pupils, and I am sure that the impact will be felt for many generations to come.
